The Novant Health medical office building groundbreaking ceremony at Pine Forest Plantation has huge turnout, and future looks bright for potential residents.
Oak Island, NC, June 17th, 2016 – Pine Forest Plantation broke ground with the first building on the property this past Tuesday. The construction of the Novant Health primary care medical office building is slated to be in operation in late 2017. The project and the new community received an outpouring of support at both the groundbreaking and a crowded reception after the event. At the construction site, leadership members from Novant Health were joined by many local and regional officials who spoke highly of the project’s goals, the development team, and their efforts to bring the community to life in Oak Island, NC. The developers explained that Pine Forest Plantation, in fast growing Brunswick County, will feature a planned 50 acre healthcare and medical campus with every amenity needed for easy living with access to quality care later in residents lives. The reception held at the Holiday Inn Express had an unexpectedly large turnout. In the crowded room, additional seating was brought in only to be exceeded as attendance continued to grow. One of the development team members, Gene Vaughan, commented on the needs facing the attentive audience as they plan their lives and the care needed later in life.
